Patrick Dourado arrives in Kuwait for 'Tujem Rogot'
Kuwait: Well known senior most Director of Konkani stage Shri Patrick Dourado
arrived in Kuwait for his forthcoming tiatr 'Tujem Rogot', organized by Navelim Youth Centre
to be staged at Hawally AC Hall on 16th April, 2004. He was given a warm welcome and received at
the airport by Navelim Youth Centre's President Mario Carneiro, Vice President Luis D'Silva, Ex-President Agnello Fernandes,
Gen. Sec. Seby Fernandes and other members of the centre.
Patrick is in Kuwait much ahead of the scheduled show to direct the Kuwait based artistes participating in the drama.
Superstar of character roles Jose Rod is expected to enthrall Kuwait Goans yet again with his unmatched acting prowess. Other
main actors from Kuwait are comedy Queen Querobina, Sandra, Gracy, Joseph Rodrigues, Sylvester Vaz, Andrew, Augusto, Anthony Carr, Michael
D'Silva, Comedian Nelson, Simon Dias and Katty de Navelim.
The Goan stars to be seen in action are Antonette de Calangute, Netty Carneiro, Pegado, melody singers Osvy
Viegas, Xavier Gomes (Ex-Kuwait), Soccor de Santa Cruz and master comedian Augustine .
Interestingly, Patrick Dourado who started as a writer-director at the tender age of 19 directing his first
'khell' 'Nagovnneachi Girestkai' has never sung or acted in plays in his long career spanning over 90 dramas but
will be seen on stage for the first time ever singing in the Opening Chorus 'duo' with his ex-actor of Goa Katty
de Navelim.
Patrick has received accolades and eminence all over for his tragedy dramas like 'Bhoot Jaki', Ghatki Bhoinn,
Utor, Tin Thembe, 'Suknnem ani Mira', 'Lok Sangtolo', 'Ostori', 'Tin Fogotteanche Marann', 'Thi Mhoji Maim', 'Suseg Pid'dear
Kelo', etc. With a blend of selected artistes from Goa & Kuwait, 'Tujem Rogot' too promises to be an impressive thriller.
The musical score for the show will be provided by maestro Soccoro on the lead, Faustino on trumpet, Dennis
on bass, Duarte(Stepping Stones) and Shahu on keyboards and Tony on drums.
Tickets for the show are already out on sale and are available with all NYC members and at Raja Stores, Kuwait City. To avoid disappointment at the last moment, public
